General Information for Parents


School Hours

8.30am Children arrive at school

9.00am Children proceed to classrooms

11.00 to 11.15 am Recess

1:05 to 1.15 Eating time

1:15-1:35 First half lunch

1:35-1:55 Second half lunch

2.55pm Students dismissed

As teachers do not commence duty until 8.30am, students should not arrive before this time


Contributions and Fees

Contributions and fees are invoiced each Term. The invoices will be sent home with your eldest child. Contributions are asked of each family to help cover the costs for each child's educational materials.

We ask that invoices are paid promptly so students can participate in activities and use their workbooks.

If at any time you are experiencing financial difficulties please see the Principal or the Ofiice Staff to discuss a payment plan.


Absence Notes

A written explanation is required for each partial or full day absense from school. Notes should be forwarded to the class teacher the day your child returns to school. Where an absense is likely to exceed three days, the school should be advised. Please do not send children to school if they are sick. If you are required to collect your child from class before the end of the day, please call in at the front office for an Early Release slip. Similarly, if your child is late for school, an a them in at the offiice and obtain a Late Arrival Slip.


Change of Address, Email, Emergency Contacts

Parents are asked to promptly advise the school of any change of address, phone numbers, emergency contacts, or procedures for picking up children.



In cases where a parent has been granted custody by the Court, the documents will need to be sighted by the Principal.



The School Newsletter is published each week and emailed on the Monday. The Newsletter is our main source of communication to all families on school and student activities. To sign up to the newsletter go the Newsletter/ Announcements tab on the website.


Notes will be sent home as required notifying you of activities, events and changes at school. Permission notes and any payments are required on or before the activities due date as per the instructions given on each note. Most notes will also be available on the website.
